Initial findings were described in<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">Reed, C. (2005) &#8220;Preliminary Results from an Argument Corpus&#8221; in <i>Proceedings of the IX Symposium on Social Communication<\/i>, Santiago de Cuba, pp576-580. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/people\/chris\/publications\/2005\/cuba.pdf\">pdf<\/a>]<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The corpus has been used in a number of different subsequent research projects including, for example,<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">Moens, M.-F., Boiy, E., Palau, R.M., &amp; Reed, C. (2007) &#8220;Automatic Detection of Arguments in Legal Texts&#8221; in <i>Proceedings of the International Conference on AI &amp; Law (ICAIL-2007)<\/i>, Stanford, CA, pp225-230. [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/people\/chris\/publications\/2007\/icail2007.pdf\">pdf<\/a>]<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Due to a security breach the AraucariaDB corpus is no longer available online. (A Polish text corpus in a similar style &#8212; <a href=\"http:\/\/argumentacja.pdg.pl\/argdbpl\/\">ArgDBpl<\/a> is still live).
