{"id":259,"date":"2009-09-02T10:40:33","date_gmt":"2009-09-02T10:40:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?page_id=259"},"modified":"2021-09-16T11:48:03","modified_gmt":"2021-09-16T11:48:03","slug":"argdb","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/index.php\/research\/argdb\/","title":{"rendered":"ArgDB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As of 2012, ArgDB as a corpus is simply a subset of resources available on the Argument Web and accessible via the <a href=\"http:\/\/aifdb.org\/\">AIFdb<\/a> interface.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/argdb.computing.dundee.ac.uk\">ArgDB<\/a> has grown out of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?page_id=1030\">AraucariaDB<\/a>, providing online access to a corpus of analysed arguments. All those arguments that were available in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?page_id=1030\">AraucariaDB<\/a> have been transcoded and are now available in ArgDB. (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?page_id=1030\">AraucariaDB<\/a> is still maintained, however, as it is directly accessible from the <a href=\"http:\/\/araucaria.computing.dundee.ac.uk\">Araucaria<\/a> software). As a part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?page_id=168\">Dialectical Argumentation Machines<\/a> project, this resource will be expanded. But perhaps the most significant difference is that ArgDB is built on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?page_id=197\">AIF<\/a> representations and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/people\/chris\/publications\/2007\/aij2007.pdf\">WWAW<\/a> infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>ArgDB also provides a REST-ful API, a description of which is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?page_id=289\">available<\/a>.
