{"id":808,"date":"2013-04-10T18:46:24","date_gmt":"2013-04-10T18:46:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?page_id=808"},"modified":"2021-09-16T12:01:19","modified_gmt":"2021-09-16T12:01:19","slug":"argument-corpora","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/index.php\/research\/argument-corpora\/","title":{"rendered":"Argument Corpora"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>All of our corpora are now available through the AIFdb Corpus Management tools, available online at <a href=\"http:\/\/corpora.aifdb.org\">corpora.aifdb.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We have compiled various different corpora of argument:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AIFdb2013 &#8211; A 12,000 node corpus (where a node is roughly a proposition or an inference) of analysed argumentation, incorporating all the analyses of the AraucariaDB corpus plus many more arguments from various sources including users <a href=\"http:\/\/www.argublogging.com\/\">argublogging<\/a>, and working with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?p=492\">Arvina<\/a>, plus other datasets such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.archelogos.com\/\">Archelogos<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/arg-tech.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/moralmaze2012_corpus.doc\">MM2012<\/a> &#8211; A 65,000 word corpus of unanalysed dialogue transcripts from the BBC Radio 4 Moral Maze programme.<\/li>\n<li>AraucariaDBpl &#8211; A corpus of analysed arguments in Polish<\/li>\n<li>AraucariaDB2005 &#8211; A corpus of over 650 analysed arguments described in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/people\/chris\/publications\/2005\/cuba.pdf\">Reed, C. (2006) &#8220;Preliminary Results from an Argument Corpus&#8221; in Elo\u00edna Miyares Berm\u00fadez and Leonel Ruiz Miyares (eds) Linguistics in the Twenty First Century, Cambridge Scholars Press, (ISBN 9781904303862), pp185-196<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/arg-tech.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/MockMediation1.docx\">Mediation discourse<\/a>\u00a0&#8211; A corpus of dispute mediation transcripts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These corpora are free for academic use (for non-academic use, please contact Prof. Chris Reed).
