{"id":2599,"date":"2022-10-24T10:06:41","date_gmt":"2022-10-24T10:06:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/?p=2599"},"modified":"2022-10-28T15:24:20","modified_gmt":"2022-10-28T15:24:20","slug":"signature","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.arg.tech\/index.php\/signature\/","title":{"rendered":"ARG-tech secures $2.5m in funding"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A multi-million-dollar project to protect a person\u2019s online identity is enlisting help from ARG-tech to develop software capable of detecting and disguising trademark linguistic patterns used by individuals online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ARG-tech are receiving $2.5m of funding as part of a larger project consortium led by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sri.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SRI International<\/a> in California. The project is funded by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iarpa.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity<\/a> (IARPA), the research and development arm of the United States Government\u2019s Office of the Director of National Intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Dundee research forms part of IARPA\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iarpa.gov\/research-programs\/hiatus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Human Interpretable Attribution of Text Using Underlying Structure<\/a> (HIATUS) program, a research effort aimed at advancing human language technology.
